This is a typical Friday evening outside of my apartment building in Alphabet City. The animals scream and holler and more often than not fighting breaks out. Tonight was a biggie, there were approx. 100 animals in the intersection at one point, pummeling the crap out of each other with fists and boots. The usual chorus of "OH!" and "bitch ass" and "n****" and "OH" again. Males and females. I watched the best of it on my fire escape before realizing I should have gotten my camera. It had died down a little when I started filming but there's still some action. As usual, the cops turned up when it was safe enough for them to venture out of the 9th precinct (which is literally 5 or 6 blocks away).
