Rick Perry Officially Announces His Bid For the 2012 Presidential Election

From the RedState conference in South Carolina today, Texas Gov. Rick Perry finally made it official - he's running for President of the United States in 2012. Here's his speech in its entirety.

I'm still up in the air about who my candidate is, but I welcome Perry's entrance into the race.

  • He steals land for his crony friends, under the guise of eminent domain, for the trans-international corridor, super highway from Mexico to Canada, Perry will say anything to get your vote, he has no principals and is another typical politician out only for himself, not the constituents. corruption run amock.

Born in Texas, lived in Texas, Love Texas - Don't VOTE for this scumbag Perry is bad for America.

  • Do not vote for this man. He has openly allowed the family court system and child protective services to remain corrupt despite many citizens asking for his help.

  • Only a jaded and cynical political hack couldn't get a kick out of some of this guys life stories and accomplishments.

I mean really, your stuck on the island you going with Obama or Perry...Alright, we'll see if he can stand up to the Liberal reality distorting machine, there going to paint him a Bush 2.0 in more ways then one, he better be ready to circumvent and out flank the liars and myth makers...Maybe cut a deal now and put Newt on the ticket to blow away the lies and misconceptions the More..

    • @singlelife You might as well ask if America would rather Obama or a celery stick because it holds the same meaning. Any empty suit vs Obama is more appealing to most Americans. However the rising conservative movement wants more than just "not Obama" I don't think they want to throw up another empty suit and Rick Perry, Gingrich and Romney are just that. Empty suits capable of paying lip service to the constitution and christian values to secure votes.
