As soon as he refused to identify himself, they should have have detained him. These morons had no idea if this asshole is on probation, parole or a felon in possession of a firearm?

Please watch the video and read my comment..

Missouri is an "Anomalous Open Carry State" which means there are some requirements involved with open carry and one of of those is "produce valid form of identification when requested by any member of law enforcement"

Nobody is challenging this fucking douchbag's right to open carry, but those dumbass cops should've at least ensured that he wasn't prohibited from lawfully owning (let alone carrying) a firearm...

      Posted Feb-10-2013 By

    • @zaire67

certain states have certain requirements and one in almost every single state regarding open carry is you are required to carry and to hand over identification if so asked by law enforcement, there are only a handful of states that don't.

The real problem is open carry activists don't even know their own local laws regarding the subject, they just peruse google for some bull shit answer's they want, take them as fact, rehearse them then strap on a camera and go out for a strol More..

    • @Biskup When Black folks starting to fully take advantage of their 2nd amendment rights, states started changing their gun laws. California had an open carry law, but when Black folks starting carrying legally acquired guns. the laws were quickly changed. A police state can only exist if the police are the only armed entity.

Because SOME people who own legal firearms are literally too dumb to own them. These are the people they want to take away guns from. The trouble makers, the people who do stuff on purpose to piss people off or to cause a scene. Dude, no one cares if you own a shotgun and blast around your yard. • @Rabid_Ghost_Unknown No I wouldn't. Because I don't think it's right for people to walk around with a shotgun, just for the purpose of showing off their "rights". It's like the Gay's walking down the streets in thongs and making out with each other, because they have the right to. I'm sure many conservative people on here would be like "I don't want my children to see that, that is not for public" But they are just expressing their rights. Well guess what, I don't want gays More..

    • @Rabid_Ghost_Unknown Yeah, for sure. I totally am ok with open carry handguns. That honestly doesn't make people scared like large weapons.. assault rifles, hunting rifles, shotguns. I'm not one of the people who thinks that people shouldn't be able to carry guns. Like I said, if this guy was walking somewhere and planning on using the weapon (hunting, target practice, protection, etc) I would be ok with this (though he should of bought a car, before a gun). It is not even tactically sound to open carry because you just make yourself a target. If you were intelligent or truly wanted to defend yourself, you would conceal carry.

Or try to change it through legitimate means, if they didn't want people walking around with (holstered) guns.
