In the real world china keeps making all our stuff. This includes high technology contracts that should be staying in the USA. Instead these jobs are also being outsourced to china. This gives them the skilled workforce they require to then be self sufficient in that industry in future. General electrics 3 billion dollar MRI machine contract is a good example.
