    • I dont know if that is necesarily truth.. in germany for example we have 6million drinkers and "just" 600000 drug addicts if alcohol was the gateway drug it would be higher wouldnt it be? i dont know how it is in north america though

    • That's true, people don't go around blowinf each others heads off if they simply smoke weed. Weed mixed with other shit is a different story all together...

      Alcohol being the disinhibitor that it is, makes us do we wouldn't normally do. Even to each other, which makes it the worst drug in the world. The potential for mayhem is just as great as any other deadly shit like crack, pcp etc...

    • For some people they are paranoid already and weed only serves to heighten that which is already there.

  • One thing the left has the right position on is marijuana legalization. If you burn it, you could get some unhealthy effects, but you can eat it (butter) or vaporize it with no ill effects, except perhaps laziness. So legalize it globally. Prohibition only creates black markets and crime. Jailing people for smoking marijuana is evil, always has been.     • Schwartzneger passed a law in california that if you get caught with less than an ounce of Marijuana its only $100 dollar fine. like a traffic ticket. its no longer a misdamenor offense that requires jailtime and seeing a judge. That in itself is a pretty big break.

    • I got a lot of family in Ohio, and have lived there for a considerable amount of time myself. It has been a ticket there since the 60's (and probably before for all I know), and yes it is a pretty big deal. But San Francisco was always pretty lax. Complete legalization.
