Rand Paul Blasts Republicans for Repealing Obamacare with Budget

Senator Rand Paul took to the Senate floor on Wednesday to blast members of his own party for moving forward with legislation that adds nearly $10 trillion to the national debt – all in the name of repealing the Affordable Care Act.

Paul slammed the GOP resolution as a “budget that never balances.”

My comments:
Democrats and Republican politicians are great at creating one thing: Debt. When are we going to get out of this shitty two-party paradigm that has lost their roots and is filled with corruption and greed? If you're argument is republicans or democrats are worst and no other party can win.. You're the problem...

  • I'm not that smart and lost focus on a lot of what he had to say , but he is right on one thing. This two party system that has us cutting each others throats over the like's of two identical twins with different masks on has to go. We deserve better. We've earned it.
You should have elected his Dad in when you had the chance.

  • Rand isn't rallying against the repeal of Obamacare, he's rallying against the increasing of the debt. Obamacare has nothing to do with what he's saying. A balanced budget is the issue.

  • Republicans simply cannot govern. They fuck up every single time they get too much power. That's why the RNC wanted Hillary to win. They knew once Donald was in the white house, then republicans own this government. They can't just blame democrats for everything.

Concorde might not answer this question honestly, but I will:
      Explain it?
A shitload of young black people, with no parental guidance.

Now....Explain Mississippi. They've been Republican for decades. Why are they always broke?
While you're at it: Explain why ALL of the top welfare states are Republican?

Your party isn't what their lies say they are.
And just because the other party sucks, that doesn't mean your party is great.

  • There is nothing conservative about the historical record of conservatives' handling of our tax dollars. They are the true masters of racking up debt and deficit.

That they claim to be the defenders of fiscal restraint is one of the big lies of US politics. History is instructive on this matter.

Why should things be any different this time around?

    • @High_Gravity I pay close attention to his voting record while in the Senate and he definitely fights for us and against the Establishment. Rand just introduced a Bill to audit the Federal Reserve & Trump supports it, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) is opposed to the bill.

    • @SaunaDog

I'd advocate for something bigger than just a 3rd party candidate but its a good start. I don't have the answers nor am I intelligent enough to solve the current system.

Sure, I can tell you talking points like shrink the role of government, end the federal reserve, follow the constitution, etc. but they dont mean much without really laying out a plan.

Our government was formed when people wrote with feathers and elected representatives rode for weeks/months to represent More..

  • This is sooo funny. Republicans want to blame Obama for an additional 10T in debt which can be traced back to Bush's failed economic policies. Of course this debt also occurred during an eight year period.

Now the republicans incur another 10T in debt in their first week in office. This is only the beginning. Now we have a wall to build, wars to fight, massive tax breaks for the 1%. Add another 10T to the debt in the next 4 years, we will be at 40T by 2020.

  • Do you remember that scene in the Matrix movie with the kid on the floor with the spoon?? There is no spoon and there is no debt. If you understood how the western model of economics works, you would know that there is no debt. The only debt you see is what they, the governments around the world, say is debt. Yes we are all being screwed. Yes the debt is bad. Yes supply and demand is a thing. It only exists within the current model of the financial universe. There is no way out of this c More..
