The real king`s speech (Docu Part 2/2)

King George VI (‘Bertie’), Queen Elizabeth II’s father, reluctantly assumes the throne when his brother abdicates.

Plagued by a severe stammer and considered unfit to be king when the country needs a wartime leader, he engages the help of an unorthodox Australian speech therapist. Through a set of unexpected techniques and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through war, matching oratory techniques with his nemesis and master orator, Hitler. The producers that delivered the Academy Award and BAFTA winning documentary to the silver screen now take us into this war-torn era and reveal what really happened.
