A former KGB propagandist, Yuri Bezmenov, who defected to the U.S.A. in 1970, explains in this 1984 interview how the Soviets managed to turn a couple of generations of American youth's minds to mush, paving the way for total subversion.

It's long, and there are no graphics. Television used to be that way. People used to be educated enough to sit through a long interview without having to hear whooshing noises and only 10 second bites of talk at a time.

This is my first video upload! I thought it would be something musical, but that'll be next. Sorry if I end up botching the upload--first time.

    I liked that so much I had to quote it.

    We knew then and we know now for certain, this guy is full of it.
    Demoralization came from the assassination of a president with no real investigation into it, followed by an unjust war we learn latter was based on deliberate lies. This war slaughtered a generation of good men.

    • @cleetusawreetus He hamfisted together reality and his pseudoscience. Anyone can do that. He never once went into detail as to how the KGB implemented any of it.

      It was all generalities broadly brushing society and it's historic dualities, which span far beyond the birth of Communism in the scope of history.

      It doesn't even come close to describing how things actually are or how we got here.

    Im not so keen on the promise of 'music uploads' though, sounds like a job for Youtube.
    But of course youre free to post anything you want, so no need to listen to me xD

    Id just prefer to see more of this flavour of video, since I can get music in a million other places.

      Thanks for you comment! A guy on here (Telekill) posted a vid of himself playing a Who song. I liked it so much I intend to do some of that myself. I'll put it in Yoursay, I guess.

      Point well taken, though. Music is everywhere, LiveLeak is mostly for other stuff.

  • For a nation to succeed, you need the common folks to actually believe in
    what the elites are trying to accomplish. That was the true downfall of
    the Soviet Union. No mater how much they conditioned their folks to accept
    their system, in the end they simply could not.

    In essence, the folks who ran that country, were blinded by their OWN
    conditioned minds, unable to reverse the rush towards self determination.

    Obama has really been listening to this guy, on what to do, not what to do to for our survival.

    Obama promises loads of things and kisses the asses of other leaders.

    We gave him so much power, and now all he needs is some sort of “crisis” to take his next steps to “normalization”.
