This video issued by the Omari Battalion of the "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) shows the leader of the brigade of Mahmoud Odeil al-Hariri within the Omari Battalion issuing a statement yesterday, December 20, 2012, asking all Christian residents of the town of Mismiya (?) in the Hauran (Houran) region in southern Syria to leave their town.
This is not the first such incident. In Homs, for example, the FSA forced hundreds of thousands of Christians and other religious minorities to leave their towns, towns that their ancestors have lived in for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years.
This sectarian discriminatory practice by the bigoted and intolerant Wahhabi Salafi FSA is not surprising really as it reflects the rhetoric that these people have employed from the very beginnings of their "peaceful protests", rhetoric that includes phrases such as: "al-Alawiyyeh aal Tabout w al-Masihiyyeh aala Bayrout" (Alawites to the grave, Christians to Beirut).
