Doctor Paul's remedies.
A pacifist politician who is defending vigorously the tax payers and his country's constitution...does it really exists? For 40 years, a representative of the United States congress proves it does.

Let me present to you doctor Ron Paul, republican candidate for the United States presidency. A politician like no others. By opposition to nearly all the republicans and democrats, Paul is against, since day one, the militarized intervention in Iraq. In fact, he does not want his country to actively intervene in any armed conflict around the globe.

The Surprise

For some weeks, Paul is surprising all the observers by winning, or getting a respectable score in the ''straw polls'' (in english in the article). According to many, he is now in the leading group. Many surveys gave him up to 10 percent of the republican and independent votes. Perceived for a while as a marginal or even an extraterrestrial in his own party, his drastic solutions appear more and more relevant and necessary for a growing number of voters...in order to clean up the mess left by the Obama administration.

The Remedy

Paul is proposing to cut in the first year of office some 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 dollars ( a thousand milliards in long scale numerological terms ) , to abolish five federal bureaus, to eliminate all financing of corporations, to put an end to all wars U.S.A. are in, to return the United States dollars to it's original gold standard, to lower taxes and state's size by 10 percent. All of this to eliminate the deficit as soon as 2015, and to stimulate job growth in the private sector. A real antidote to the rampant statism !

Can such a shock therapy can inspire citizen to vote for it? The Paul family has proven it can, last year, when Rand, the son, was elected Kentucky's senator with the help of the tea party. The arrival of this citizen movement demanding a smaller, less interventionist government has completely transformed the House of Representatives. If the tea party has to change things in the white house, it will be through Paul's actions that it will come. He is nothing less than the first libertarian who seriously aspires to access the highest political job on this planet.

Toward Washington ?

Contrary to the occupants of Wall Street, the Tea Partiers don't rely on state nor the major unions to get out of the social and financial crisis. They rely on individual initiatives.

The medias are reluctant to cover Paul's campaign...A friendly 76 years old man, without sex scandal in his closet, who vote with the regularity of a well oiled clock against tax raises and unbalanced budget. The more and more people he rallies, the more difficult it becomes to ignore the man.

In a country which, for too long now, has seen it's government spend like there is no tomorrow, Dr. Paul brings a cure, more than an illusion. Are the united states voters ready to take the pill, the remedy strong enough for a horse, to get back their economical health?
