Paciente J.B.M., portador de enfermidades tais como ALZHEIMER e MAL DE PARKISON, com 84 anos de idade, sexo masculino deu entrada no HDML em Parnamirim/RN no dia 15 de agosto de 2011, às 20:00h, com afecção na cavidade oral na região anterior, posterior e sublingual de mandíbula por MIÍASE, há vários dias com grande infestação de larvas em cavidade oral.

PRESCRIÇÃO: IVERMECTINA cada comprimido de 06mg, dosagem inicial de 02 comprimidos (12mg) oral; após 48h ausência de larvas e cuidados com higiene oral sempre feita com solução de clorherxine a 0,12%. Foi repetida a ivermectina, após sete dias pelo Dr. Edmilson Clínico e plantonista daquele Hospital. Paciente com bom estado geral, ao exame clínico sem larvas, sem odor fétido e com boa cicatrização tecidual recebendo alta hospitalar.
