Baby M has been pulled off of life support as of late Thursday evening after a Supreme Court ruling deeming the young malnourished 2 year old girl unfit to live. The 34 year old Algerian couple is alleged to have starved and mistreated their two young daughters while their young son was found to be in perfect healthy condition.

The death of "Baby M" (proper names withheld to protect the identities of the surviving children) could have a serious outcome on the charges filed against the parents as while Baby M was alive the charges were to be of a lesser degree. Now with the Supreme Court decision to remove Baby M off of life support the charges are said to possibly increase to the worst case of manslaughter.

The story has gripped the nation and has seen much outrage at the senseless abuse allegedly perpetrated by the parents onto the little girls. The Supreme Court eventually came to the conclusion to remove Baby M from life support after many top physicians concluded that she would never recover from her injuries and was in a vegetative state.
