Don't click this if you're actually expecting to see an alligator. It's just a video of a short walk on a nice day around my place.

  • RICK!

I've got probably 30 - 40 videos that I've made for LL but just never did post them.

You're thinking along the same lines as I am... You make a video, you think it's good, then you start having second thoughts whether to post it or not.... You did, I never do.

    heheh..

    Love it!

    • @figatomek ..post 'em up figa! most of us love them, I mean, look at this vid of RB's back yard, I'd never get the chance to see someone's yard that has monsters in the lagoon! today, I was over in Limehouse (don't ask) just a short way from the Olympic Stadium, it couldn't be more different from RB's world - or other world-wide LL'ers. I love seeing peoples ordinary films of ordinary stuff. dunno why I said that....

      You might be onto something...

Next time I make a video - I won't hold back and I'll post it.

      :)

I dunno why I posted this. I never know what's gonna do well here... But there were a few videos I posted that I felt the same way about and one of my yoursays I almost didn't post even got featured. Go figure...

  • Walkin' around next to a nice shoreline, pistol in hand, trying to scare the shit out of a miscreant alligator. My backyard is so small I could take a dump and cover it. Thanks for sharing your space.

    • @Poosti Malaka mine too.
I step into my back yard and I see this creepy, older couple that lives behind me, sitting in their patio love seat, staring back at me with odd, prescription smiles. I cant tell if they are just goofy or if they are sizing me up for a new skin suit.

    • @RickBond Can you swim in that water ?seems a shame to have all that water n not. Be able to swim .what kinda snakes you get around there

    • @markymark69

Oh yes! People water ski and swim in it, but from a boat away from the shore. There's too much shit that can bite you near the bank.

There are many, many kinds of snakes here, but the only ones I worry about are Cottonmouths, which can be deadly. Other than rodents, Cottonmouths are the only native animal I will kill on site. They can be quite aggressive; they not only stand their ground, but will actually come after you if you piss them off. The snake I almost stepped on More..

  • Choot em! Choot em! Heh he. I always wanted to shoot a gator. I would feel bad shooting a cute critter unless i were hungry. But a gator? I'd shoot him and watch his head go POP

  • You have the most dangerous back yard on LL, Rick.

  • Is that a S&W 500?

How about setting a trap for that gator instead?

    Aren't those edible?

I'm so full of questions today aren't I?

    See?

    Can't I stop asking?

    Did I vote on this?

    • @piruly

      It is a S&W .357.

I actually do have a 500 (times used to be better!) but I hardly ever fire it due to the expense. There was a post or two here with 500s and the inevitable "that's two much gun for me" comments. It does kick, but not as bad as you would think. My GF can shoot it, and we'll be posting a video one day with a watermelon or something to prove that a girl has reasonable accuracy with one.

Alligators are edible and (like anything) can be delicious if pr More..

Agreed, but I'm only after that particular one. If he was still around I would have spotted him. I'll check again tomorrow to be sure he's gone somewhere else

    • @RickBond Good luck don't lose a hand haha :) Had the privilege of gator hunting with some Texans at night during a trip to Florida. Really had a great time!
