CCTV captures the moment when 2 robbers pull up in their car and wait for betting shop manager Vadim S. who was carrying 350,000 rubles with him to take to the bank.

Just as Vadim passes their vehicle they jump out and pounce on him from behind smashing a lead pipe into his skull in the audatious daylight robbery.

The incident was caught on the banks surveillance system who were tipped off of a possible attempt to rob the bookie and were suspicious of the car which pulled up after being seen driving around in the area shortly before Vadim left his shop.

One of the robbers as been caught in the meantime and should not be long before they catch up with the other.

Vadim is still in hospital after the attack which took place on May 3rd but is said to be in high spirits.
