For those that pretend to 'absolutely' know!
Get some!
To have anything other than reasonable doubt is foolish. Those of religion who profess absolutism are the most illogical. If their were a god, i'm sure he/she/it would call them 'unreasonable'.

A good man will do good things.
A bad man will do bad things.
However, it takes religion to convince a good man to do bad things.

@USA1 What do you call a former atheist cereal killer who is changed in both heart and mind that accepts Jesus, like Jeffrey Dahmer.

@camy011 A liar, cannibal, murdering psychopath! If he lied, cheated and murdered before, there's no reason to not believe that he already was of religion.
How do you get into the mind of someone like that? I'm no expert, but even I can see the potential pitfalls of even trying.
In fact, thinking about it, if a person like that suddenly told me he had found god, i'd be even more worried about fellow prisoners or any kind of parole. The reason being that before, he had no real reason to do what More..

@CargeLock So it is okay to assume he followed a religion(that has a form of god(s)) before he converted to Christianity without a reason, but it isn't okay to assume his own testimony after his conversion is accurate about his belief in god(s)? I beg for consistency.
He admitted that he was just carrying out his world view. His view of morality was meta-ethical subjectivism carried out by his personal egotism. He was just expressing his personal taste of "morality" since there are no More..

The video is actually proposing agnosticism. To me that seems a very honest opinion to hold.
Religion is clearly man made. Looking at religion forensically, all the clues are there. It is obvious to any rational objective inspection that religion was invented by men. Always for control of other men, and particularly women. It is usually enforced through fear.
But that still leaves the question of a creator? Not the simple introspective question of who created this world we live in, and us. But, More..

Whenever something can't be explained it's "GODS WORK".
Funny because later on we begin to figure out these things, which makes these people look like ignorant cunts.
It would be an insult to discredit all the time it took for the universe / humanity to create itself.

Best thing I have learnt is everything happens for a reason. The oldest things we have seen are galaxies dating to 10 billion years ago - before the birth of earth and our sun, and certainly a ridiculous amount of time before the book of genesis was written. Our path begins in the cosmos!

Great post.
The point is that no one knows the answers to these questions.
Different religions offer different theories. Evolution offers another.
Any or none of these theories may be right.
Keep an open mind. It is a difficult thing to do but really the only logical position.

My God is not a god of the gaps. My God is the God over both the gaps and the non-gaps. My God is the explanation for why science explains, the reason for reason, the necessary existence for existence, and the foundation in which proof can prove.

Almost all those who post on Liveleak are fools or misfits. Their comments aren't those of normal people. And look at the pictures next to their names.

That's why they call it faith. Duh
Because you don't have it, you feel the need to accuse those that do, to be fools? I think you have insecurity issues.

Always a good laugh when someone posts something supposedly of some intelligence and then fails to write English properly - it would be "If THERE were a god,..."

Are you blind? Can't you see the current power of Satan throughout the world? The evil that is occurring all over. Mary has even told us that Satan is gaining great power or strength.
