Reality Filter 1 of 7:
Most of the time we claim to ”understand” something, if we have heard it before, so we compare it with what we THINK it could… or “should” be, to ease our mind, comprehension… the boundary of our “reality” (thought-cage) or … your choose to check things out for yourselves ?!
That is: “The Convenience Syndrome”
Reality Filter 2 of 7:
To avoid any conflict… most think they know what other people may think or believe assume how other people will react or behave, they know what others likes to hear, so, presenting (or selling) themselves the best way possible … That they are accepted as a “respected” citizen of society! Most of us wants to fit in the program, (without checking), what others think, and act upon it, claiming to be “FREE!” … wanting to fit in a system keeps itself in that state of ignorance. and I quote David Icke: “We think we are free, so we don’t rebel.”
That is: “The fear of being an outsider, syndrome”
Reality Filter 3 of 7:
Most people only hear/see/remember that, what they want to hear/see/remember. Do you believe what you see or do you see what you (want to) believe?
That is: “The selective listening and seeing, syndrome”
Reality Filter 4 of 7:
Most tell only what we want to tell. Telling only a part of the ‘truth’ that fit the story we are trying to sell….
That is: “The one sided approach, syndrome”
Reality Filter 5 of 7:
Our minds are bombarded with (useless) information boggled with all type of world-problems, our state of mind is most of the time: “Feeling powerless !” too tired, often cynical, to consider alternative viewpoints. There seems to be no place for Empowering VIEWS or Vital INFO that shouts for ACTION! Without letting other people decide your fate…
Lack of Action, has to do with no trust in authorities and/or yourselves (feeling unnecessary) incompetent … There are just too many disappointments. The quality of ANY personality is best measured the way individuals deal/handle with disappointments.
That is: “I can’t do anything & “it’s no use”, syndrome”
Reality Filter 6 of 7:
We often have “no time” to check things out, what really is revolutionary, controversial, mind-boggling and touches our heart! Because WORK WORK WORK makes us tired.
That is: “I have to pay the bills, so it is necessary to do -mostly unpleasant- work, syndrome”
Reality Filter 7 of 7:
Our comprehension is our “Thought-cage” of what we can accept as “REAL” or not. What we accept for REAL is often connected with emotions! Lack of checking, lack of effort to investigate, that touches your hart! it takes effort, courage and guts to be really different.
That is: “Lack of will to see or search beyond our limitations, Syndrome”
