A medical report compiled by the family physician of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a "closed fracture" of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.

Zimmerman faces a second degree murder charge for the Feb. 26 shooting that left the unarmed 17-year-old high school junior dead. Zimmerman has claimed self defense in what he described as a life and death struggle that Martin initiated by accosting him, punching him in the face, then repeatedly bashing his head into the pavement.

  • When you listen to the whole 911 tape there is no way Zimmerman will be found guilty. Strickly a case of traditional self-defense. If someone starts beating the crap out of me I will also shoot.

  • Not sure why they don't use a baby picture of Martin, might do more for the story.

    If you hit a cop or run from a cop, there's a very good chance your going to get a beating or get shot. Don't run from the police, don't hit the police.

    Now it comes down to he said / she said between a cop and a dead guy.

  • I'm of 2 minds on this one. He (Z-man) should NEVER have gotten out of his fucking vehicle, he should have done what the 9-1-1 dispatcher told him to.

    HOWEVER, murder? Nope, self-defense, but Z-man was a simpleton.

    • @BunkerGearGal The only thing the dispatcher told him was "We don't need you to do that" regarding following martin. That was long after he got out of his truck. I don't even get that argument. Are we not allowed to get out of a vehicle in our own neighborhood?

      What if Trayvon had a gun and was going to murder someone. Zimmerman calls 9-1-1 and they tell him "just wait, the cops are on there way. We don't need you do anything" and Zimmerman says " no, fuck that. You guys won't be here in time, and by the time u get here, he (Trayvon) will already have killed dude and be gone" so Zimmerman ignores 9-1-1 and goes and stops a murder.....would it be wrong then? Not only that, do you legally have to listen to. 9-1-1 oper More..

      I am NOT defending Trayvon, far from it, but the knee jerk, incapable of comprehending a simple statement crowd fly off the handle.

      Z-man ain't a cop, he tried and failed. He should have stayed in his vehicle, as directed, and let the actual police handle things.

      The news is never impartial. Just two days ago I watched a special o this on NBC I think. And they were still showing the footage of Zimmerman in the police station after he was arrested and they are still pointing out how his head looks fine, they even went as far as to have an expert come on and anylise the footage...when the picture of his head have already been released from when he was in the hospital BEFORE he went to the police station...and his head is bleed pretty bad...
