When you live on a diet of canned food and dried biscuits, who could blame you for yearning for a little variety?
So don't think too harshly of Honey, the crafty suburban pet who decided to swap her dog's dinner for a bear's bite to eat.
After a suburban street near Seattle, Washington, was flooded earlier this week, a swollen nearby river spilled out over the road.
Carried with the raging water were some very tasty salmon, which were merely trying to get to the other side of the road and continue on their way.
Unfortunately for them, local pooch Honey decided to do a little fishing.
In video showing large salmon zooming across the street, Honey playfully sprints after them in a bid to grab a fish supper.
She fails in her first attempts but her perseverance finally pays off, as she lands a real beauty. With the swagger of a fisherman who has just caught something to really brag about, she then slowly saunters off with her prize.
The Skokomish River spilled over its banks in Mason County on Monday, sending water over roadways and flooding some fields.
While most people found it annoying and damaging, Honey was clearly having a ball.
The Washington district received record-breaking downpours in the first days of Novembe,r which lead to Honey's lucky catch.
The river was running high and fast and overflowing into surrounding roads.
Local resident Randy Deivert said: 'If you live here, you better be prepared for it'.
