When i did a little time in the county jail many years ago there was NO smoking in the jail but people did get tobacco in somehow. my guess was up their ass. The way to light smokes without a lighter or matches was called "pop light' which was done by taking the carbon out of a pencil sticking one 1 inch length in each 110ac wall socket and then taking another 1 inch piece and making a handle of sorts out of TP (toilet paper). then the object was to short the 2 contacts causing a "pop' More..

To be fair, I have not quit nicotine altogether, I took the load off my lungs and broke the smoking habit by switching to dip and I'm still in the process of weaning off of it, but it's working very well.
