A woman was forcibly pulled off a US-Airways plane bound for Charlotte on Sunday after officials said she refused to comply with flight crew instructions.
The video, shot by passengers and posted on YouTube, appears to show the confrontation between a passenger and Broward County Sheriff's Deputies.
According to television station WPLG, US-Airways flight 906 was leaving Ft. Lauderdale headed to the Queen City on Sunday morning.
During taxi to the runway, a woman reportedly refused numerous orders from the flight crew to stop talking on her cell phone.
WPLG says the pilot turned the aircraft around, headed to the gate, and alerted officials.
When Sheriff's deputies boarded the plane, people pulled out their cell phones, and captured the rant.
On the video, deputies can be seen trying to coax the woman off the aircraft, but she refused. Instead, she kept demanding the flight attendant tell her why she was being kicked off.
Even after the flight attendant was seen explaining the situation to her, she wouldn't leave.
After numerous verbal attempts, deputies could be seen trying to remove her from the plane, but it was pretty obvious from the video she didn't want to go.
"Get off me...get off me!" the woman repeated over and over.
Broward deputies tried to handcuff the woman, and in the process, she reportedly bit an officer.
She was finally escorted off the plane. Her two-year old son who was sitting next to her and watched the whole thing unfold could be heard in the background "Mommy...I'm scared."
According to reports, the child was placed in the custody of his father.
The passenger was charged with several offences, including assault on a law enforcement official.
The TSA, according to WPLG, may also bring Federal charges against her since it happened onboard an aircraft.
