More Dinosaur Music for the Hell of It

Maybe this post will work.

As a follow up to Music Day here's another piece. My music is officially classified as "Berlin School" Electronic Music. I've inclused a couple of pics for people who don't know what monsters are used to make it. The first one is of me setting things up. There's about 10 or so synths not in view. The second one is me setting up the patches. I had barely started. The piece is called "The Brazen Bull". We were into a medieval torture device theme at the time.

You'll either love it or hate it.

Enjoy!

  • Nice large collection of Moog modules in modern padded flight cases to the left, Doepfer setup on top to the right. What else?

    • You're kidding, right? I currently own 72 synths. I'll rattle them all off if you like. Not all of them come into play on each piece obviously. I've now got them permanently set up in a conference room at my hotel. All we have to do is decide which ones to use and configure or patch them in order to play. It makes life a lot easier.

When I play at music festivals I only take a few key instruments like my road proofed W3C (the big boy) and then borrow the rest from other bands. It's not ideal More..

    • I forgot the Fender Rhodes Piano in the equipment list although we dumped it in favour of the V-piano.

Oh yeah, and add in a kitchen sink. I'm pretty sure we could play that as well.

Typos/ommissions. I'm pretty sure those things procreate when I'm not watching.

  • Sorry, I didn't pick Liveleak's choice of Quiktime AKA Slowtime as its MP3 decoder so be patient. The file's pretty big. It'll take 2-3 minutes to load.
