Kafr Anbel was a difficult battle. However on the 10th of August 2012, the Freedom fighters of Kafr Anbel purged the city of Assad's forces after they had stormed the city and thereby liberating it completely. The city was completely taken by Free Syrian Army fighters and multiple tanks and armored personel carriers were taken, including a couple of jeeps, cars and weapons.
