On March 9, 2011 several Police brutally ordered a K-9 to attack an unarmed California Registered Nurse (RN). The California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Orange County, California then attempted to cover up the incident.

Malik King, a reportedly Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) since nineteen and RN since twenty three, is said to have initially attempted to steal a car. Later, it was found he was the owner of that Mercedes. What ensued next on the part of several officers goes well beyond the bounds of simply trying to subdue their suspect.

The several police officers ordered a police K-9 to attack him while he was still fastened in his seat-belt; tasered multiple times while the K-9 attacked for over one minute and thirty seconds, then hand cuffed, slammed to the concrete, hog tied, beat and kicked in the head until unconscious. He was then taken to jail, accused of multiple felonies, multiple misdemeanors, and had to pay an insurmountable sum of $50,000 for bail.(Kelly Thomas murderer released on $25,000 bail, in the same Orange County).

Despite witnesses and the clear brutality of the beating, kicking, tasering, and ordered K-9 attack, California Highway Patrol allowed several officers to remain active and attempted a cover-up.

From a nursing assistant (NA) at seventeen, LVN since nineteen, RN since twenty three, to a future Medical Doctor (Surgeon,MD); to having my future operating right arm mauled and chewed for over one minute and thirty seconds, daily pain, and nightly nightmares.

As a Public Health Nurse in an Orange County jail; my experience was unimaginable. They segregate the minorities and put us in the worse living conditions. There was mold, rust, mildew, chip paint, MRSA!, bed bugs and flees; where we were suppose to sleep and live for twenty three hours a day. We were the last people to eat, they gave us old dirty clothes to wear and we were physically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically abused daily .

Ironically: Malik King beating (March, 2011) occurred exactly 20 years after the Rodney King beating (March,1991) and Kelly Thomas was murdered in the same fashion, in the same Orange County, just four months after I was almost murdered. Thank you for your continued support; because of your support, signatures, calls, emails, and letters we were able to get an affidavit (court order) demanding the CHP to inform the courts of who destroyed the original videos and when were the original videos destroyed.
