Texas - Duncanville police released surveillance video Wednesday from a pawn shop robbery, after exhausting all their leads.
The department previously released still pictures of the men. They didn't get any useful tips so they decided to release the whole video.
The video is from June 11. It shows one man walk up to the counter at the Cash America Pawn Shop pointing an AK-47 at the employee.
Meanwhile, his partner uses a hammer to break the jewelry display cases. The video shows him hitting the glass several times before it breaks. He then pulls out a plastic bag and fills it with jewelry.
Duncanville police think the two are part of a ring of thieves hitting pawn shops recently. Sometimes there is a third person with them.
The Cash America Pawn store on Highway 67 does have a sophisticated surveillance system which shows the men from several angles. Their tattoos are clearly visible.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Det. David Moon with the Duncanville Police Department at 972-780-5000 Ext. 1104.
