  • The sinkhole area in Louisiana has lots of natural gas fracking and oil drilling going on. I would assume that water somehow rushed underneath sinkhole due to fracking and created said sinkhole there; but chicken little will still scream the sky is falling.

    I'm not denying the earth is changing, but man-made change was likely the cause in a lot of those sink-holes. Almost always is.
