South Korea switches to solar

May 1 - A city some 170km southeast of Seoul turns to the sun for power.

The South Korean city of Munkyong has finished building a solar power system believed to be the largest in Asia, producing 2.2 megawatts of electric power per day to for supply to up to 700 households.
