PEPCOAL must go-chants at PEPCO FLash mob
On September 24, protesters fro Rising Tide DC carried out a "flashmob" protest at the offices of DC's highly unpopular electrical utility, PEPCO, or as some now call it, PEPCOAL.
Rising Tide DC and Appalachia Rising were demanding an end to the purchase of electricity generated using coal from mountaintop removal coal mines by PEPCO-and NO more rate hikes on the backs of the poor!
