I'm glad I'm not the only one who was troubled by this comment of Obama's after the recent conference on nuclear proliferation. He said "whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower," at which point I had to pick my chin up off the floor. I, like O'Reilly, am stunned that this came out of our President's mouth. And I also agree that Obama is uncomfortable with our military prowess; especially after he previously stated he didn't like to use the word "victory," and the national security documentation has been modified to remove all occurrences of the words "jihad," "Islamic extremism," "radical Islam," etc.
But guests Nancy Skinner, liberal talk show host, and Sally Quinn, writer for the Washington Post, don't see it the way we do. In fact, Ms. Quinn believes that Obama is indeed comfortable being the most powerful man in the world, and insists that what he said ONLY meant that he regretted we had to be dragged into world conflicts.
You be the judge, but I stand by my gut instinct.
