Eid celebrated around world
Dec. 20 - Millions of Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha
During the most important Muslim holiday of the year, there were calls for peace and understanding between discordant elements of the Islamic community and for unity and harmony within the Muslim world. Leaders including Hamas' Ismail Haniyeh and Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai took part in the celebrations.
The festival of sacrifice falls on the sixth day of the haj - an annual pilgrimage this year joined for the first time by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Penny Tweedie reports.
