56diggsdigg31ShareMany of us can’t wait to park ourselves in front of a television on February 6 to watch the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, Ashley Madison will not be joining us. A commercial advertising the online adultery service was recently rejected by Fox (the station televising the event), who claim that it does not meet their standards and practices. Whether that has anything to do with the service Ashley Madison offers, or the fact that porn star Savanna Samson is featured in the ad is anyone’s guess, but company founder Noel Biderman believes the latter to be the cause for their rejection.
“Now that so many adult film stars, including Jenna Jameson and Sasha Gray, have crossed over into the mainstream, it’s disappointing that the NFL continues to discriminate against them,” Biderman said. [Toronto Sun]
If that is in fact that case, I can’t help but wonder what Fox and the NFL intends to do about the possibility of accused rapist Ben Roethlisberger starting at quarterback in the big game, or internet foot fetish star Rex Ryan coaching in it. Thankfully, they will not have to worry about a game that features dog-killer Michael Vick. Now that could have been a huge public relations catastrophe
