  • Wonderful weapon, could it be defeated by a sheet of tinfoil?

    • I believe not, thats not how the beams work, they will go in through any gap even fractions ofa millimetre in thickness.
In short I'm pretty sure you would need a professionaly made garment tailored especially to protect against these toys.

    • no foil will heat up, in fact if you are wet or are wearing any jewelery the intensity will scy rocket, approximately 30% of participants develop burns to their epidermal layers. This is essential high millimeter wavelength tactical weapon aka microwave lol. What the video doesnt tell you if you are inside the house (like insurgents held up in the house) you can literally from 2 miles away beam them, the psychological effect is tremendous, they dont know why they are being burnt and cant see w More..

    • So, that's cool too.
This is the first line of defence the next line is a bullet.
You may need something a little thicker than tin foil, for that one.

  • I love this tech, freaking excellent!

    • I'm sure you'll love it when they use it on you. Who do you think this is being developed to be used against? You think these are war zone weapons? If a protest gets out of hand in a war zone they just start shooting. This is meant for us, dumbass

  • maybe if you put some hot dogs on a stick, you can have a warm lunch...

  • I used to work on radar which is what this thing is based on.
The foil like cloth we used in our aircraft radome does not heat up. That radar is 100,000 watts. Certainly way more than the raygun.
If you ground the mesh or foil suit then it will drain the energy before it gets hot.
That is why metal parts in the microwave oven do not spark up like a fork in a bowl.
Also why they told people to remove metal and glasses. Those are obviously not grounded they would be like the fork in a bowl.
    A More..

  • Sure you could shield agents it, probably any metal foil would.

Just shoot the guy wearing the aluminum foil suit, he is obviously a bad guy.

  • Electromagnetic radiation cannot pass through a conductor, so the effect can be shielded by a conductive mesh or foil which forms electromagnetic shielding around the target.

    • Yes but dosen't that mesh have to be pretty much perfectly designed other wise you are going to have leaks from what I understand on the subject. I really don't believe its as easy peasy to defeat as just wrapping a roll of kitchen foil around ones self.

    • Use a conductive Mesh over the stuff that protects PC , chips, Taser and Microwave proof

  • I wonder how it will stand up to bullets? See, we don't need firearms. The govt. is here to protect our interests.

  • I'm sure people in wheel chairs or chained somewhere will see the light and never protest again.

    • Well the forces trying to keep control of a mob could always open up on them with a 50cal heavy machine gun instead or the idiot in the wheelchair could not go to a riot in the first place, just a thought...

  • So much time, energy, technical and human resources are spent on ways of destruction and control. This focus is often at the wrong end of what ails society.

    • No, you can still have your free speech (providing you don't live in an Arab country) but just don't act like assholes. The sort of thing this would be used for is controling animals like those who rioted and wrecked a part of london a few weeks back, the pro Gaza anti-joo riots. If crowds are willing to behave themselves and not act like animals then this will not be used on them, pretty simple really.
