I was the Project Manager for the construction of this Tibetan Buddhist Monastery and had the great fortune of capturing the finishing stages of a 14 ft tall Buddha on a 5 ft tall stage with a 20 ft tall back drop behind (I'm the slightly obese gentleman on the left in blue jeans and blue shirt at :33). I used an outdoor type IP security cam (which explains the blurriness inside the shrine hall) and dumped a .jpeg every 60 seconds on to a hard drive and the results were this time lapse video. Not often do you get a glimpse of how gold leaf is applied and the magnitude of this project.
