      Our west culture near recently ignored the womans right too.
      Womans was forbidden to work, to drive, to vote, to use pants, etc.

      After the socialist revolution these womans started to reach these rights.

      The USA was one of the last nations to give same freedom and rights to womans in the west.

      The people ignore this.

      Now we need to respect these people culture and be a example.
      With a good example their leaders could see the change with differnt eyes and the womans freedom could start finally.

      So your theory explain why the uprising on SaudiAtabia, Kuwait and Qatar was ignored on the west media ??
      Thousands of protesters were killed on these nations in situations worst than happened on Iran.

      Theres a facist regim on SaudiArabia, supported by USA, UK, Canada and many other west nations.

  • It sounds like they prefer more Islam in the secular places that they live. Well we've seen how well that works. More Islam means more oppression for women. In practice, men dominate under Islam. Regardless of what the Quran may say.
