Ahmadiyya Muslim Sect is the only Islamic Sect which had the institution of khelafat, the instituation of khelafat has completed its 100 year on 27th of May 2008.

On the 27th of May 1908 Haji Hadrat Maulana Hakim Nooruddin became the first Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community after the sad demise of the Promissed Messiah Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian the founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim Sect in Islam.
After his demise in 1914 Hadrat Mirza Basheer uddin Mahmood Ahmad became the 2nd Khalifa.

In 1965 Hadrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad became the 3rd Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community after the demise of the 2nd Khalifa.

In 1982 Hdrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad became the 4th Khalifa of Ahmdiyya Muslim Community after the demise of the 3rd Khalifa.

In 2003 hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was elected the 5th Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community after the demise of the 4th Khalifa Mirza Tahir Ahmad in London, by the grace of God Almighty he is the present Supreme Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
