ISI trapping locals in the sectarian violence

Gilgit, July 19: Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or Pok is on the edge. The hitherto quiet region is simmering with sectarian tensions. Pakistan based Sunni radicals are now concentrating on families to extend their influence. Young girls and women are initiated first and eventually the whole family are brought into their fold. PoK was a part of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Himalayan region has been under Pakistani rule after it was invaded by its army under the guise of tribals in October 1947.Despite being under Pakistani stranglehold, PoK has largely been free of sectarianism. But now clashes between Shias and Sunnis are frequent.
