Nothing to see here move along just a guy with a death wish and 200 cobras to fulfil it.
The cobras are harvested for their venom. Somewhere in India. None of them are defanged shows even a snake does not bite the hand that feeds them.
In India the Cobra is considered a god (SHIVA) and they believe if someone does somebody wrong the cobra takes revenge on behalf of the victim. Otherwise they shall never bite. Oh yeah and anybody harms one will face death, so yeah do not confuse the guys non chalant ways for disrespect but it is because the man believes his god wont bite him.
A recent study found the actual number of snake bite related death is 23 times more than what was thought at a staggering 43000 per year in Indian Causing

I call bullshit. Farming venom is never done in such an open environment.
My bet is that he's just looking for dead or dying snakes most of all to remove so that the display doesn't look so bad.

I have personally been to snake nurseries in India.They have thousands of them over there. It is considered one of their gods and they believe the snake only bites those who lie and steal notice the guys hair do that should give you a hint this man lives and breaths snakes. If you look closely the guy seems to be putting on a not-very-convincing act to look like he's being cautious of the apparent danger he is exposing himself to, when in reality he often seems unaware of the snakes around him. That is something an actual snake handler would never take the risk of doing.
