McCain's 200 Page Romney Research Book From '08 Found Online
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The oft-discussed 200-page opposition research book compiled by John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008 against fellow candidate Mitt Romney has made its way online,courtesy of BuzzFeed's Andrew Kaczynski.
The entire thing is worth a thorough read if only for an exploration of how little the current Republican field has scratched the surface with respect to Romney-related attacks.
The document also seriously undercuts McCain's current position –- as an endorser of Romney for president in 2012 –- that attacks on the former governor's Bain Capital days are anti-capitalism. There are 399 mentions of Bain in McCain's Mitt Romney oppo book..

john mccain's campaign reviewed 20 some years of romney's tax returns and decided to go with sarah palin for a vp.
why don't he let the voters see those same records. his own father released 16 years of tax returns, maccain also revealed many years of his records.
still wondering why it's ok for mccain to see a bunch of them but not potential voters.
if he is above board then release them so ppl don't continue to speculate about them. it's standard practice.

i have read comments elsewhere that say the R's should put forth an alternate candidate at the republican convention. it could work if the chose the right person. why they didn't vet him thoroughly before they chose him, we'll never know. seems they would have learned their lesson with palin.

I would recommend every one on LL read the section starting on page 135 of the report to get a look at the real Romney. Read is slowly and perhaps read it twice to see the man's true character. It is not pretty.
