Syrian "Rebels" Pray Before Battle for Islam to Prevail in Syria
Part of channel(s): Syria (current event)This video footage shows members of al-Tawhid Brigade operating within the "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) praying before battle. This brigade is considered as the major active force within the FSA in the Aleppo region. It is considered more moderate than other Islamist groups fighting with the FSA such as Jabhat an-Nusra.
The leader is praying for Islam to prevail in Syria instead of just "liberating" Syria from a "dictator", which is the main claim that FSA supporters use for supporting the so-called revolution.

It may be more 'moderate' than Al-Nusra but it's got a litany of atrocities on its slate. These include murder of prisoners and deliberate destruction of Hospitals and civic amenities.
They even shoot sanitation workers and firemen simply for doing their job.
These are hard-core Salafists for sure.
