Abdul Razzaq Tlass is a genuine hero in the Syrian revolution. He was a Syrian Arab Army Soldier who defected early in or around October of 2011 and he is now the commander of the well-known and probably biggest Brigade of the Free Syrian Army, the so-called "Farouq Brigade".
Abdul Razzaq Tlass is the cousin of the latest top-ranking official who defected from Bashar Assad's "Republican Guards" corps. Here are some videos highlighting his rise in power and his thoughts on the revolution in Syria.
