The Security Service MI5 assesses that the majority of the most dangerous UK-based
extremist networks have had some form of contact with extremist groups in Pakistan.
Some of these networks are capable of attack planning on the scale of 7/7. They warn in a report signed off by the prime minister ,The terrorist threat in the UK increasingly features attack planning by ‘selfstarting’ or ‘home-grown’ UK-based groups, who may have been inspired by

Reported MI5 concerns and the warning about UK-based extremist networks (more than one) capable of attack planning on the scale of 7/7 ,the common link is Pakistan which seems to be a country threatening British interests and safety, is it not time they are seen to act on international terrorism or have travel bans imposed on people traveling to and from the country from europe?

On the 28th of June 2012 David Cameron signed the report and MI5 were given the green light to act on UK-based extremist networks with links to pakistani training camps. on the 5th of July MI5 and police arrested Richard Dart and C/O with the full backing of the prime minister's office.

THE INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY COMMITTEE ISC want more powers into overseeing MI5 including obtain information from the intelligence and security Agencies and will provide proper
oversight of their activities, including operations.

This might be fought by some inside MI5 as this means the ISC will be able to access any investigation of Government misdoing .
