A Radioactive Blue Siamese Feline Flees From Fukushima Fallout Fog

Contains some fair use video clips

A blue point Siamese cat run for cover as Fukushima's deadly radioactive steam approaches. Had TEPCO not installed radiation absorbing Nagalene Beta shields on the camera, the video would have also featured psychedelic flashes across the screen.

One of the most interesting aspects of this video is that Fukushima Diary is reporting that TEPCO admits that source of the radioactive steam is heated radioactive water. The POTRBLOG team has been pointing out for a long time that the source of high short half life radiation raining down on the USA is from the natural Radon steamed out of the Japanese ground water from events like the one shown below. Of course all the nasty artificially created Fukushima Fallout products tag along with that Radon, making it much like a canary in a coal mine. STAY OUT OF THE RAIN!

Hat tip to Majia's blog for first alerting us to the recent radioactive steam emission.

  • How do we know that cat wasn't running away from something like a loud noise or a person? How do we know it wasn't running TOWARD something like a lizard or something else that took its interest? How do we know it was evading anything at all?

Stray cats pretty much run away from anything. Not saying the fog isn't bad, I'm just saying that using him as a "canary in a coal mine" is retarded.

    • @TOPDECK notice how the more retarded a person is over the internet, the more he she will try to sound like a radio announcer.

    • @TOPDECK It is retarded. The cat would have no idea it was receiving radiation.

It's all conspiracy theorist gibberish. Pretending to know there's some radiation filter over the lens? It's bullshit with no basis in scientific reality.

That's why ALL of these loons have to tack on their bullshit claims, conspiracy theories about how the media and the government is covering up the reality of the danger.

    • @Roach1983 That what passes for an argument on your short bus?

Don't think I've ever seen even an attempt at an argument or an intelligent response from you.

  • Poor cat, all he knows is that he has a weird metallic taste in his mouth. Too bad he's probably already dead or dying.

  • Interesting. Seen the little foxes a few times last year but the cat is a new one.

This latest steam release after #2 had another criticality cycle begin to ramp, videos of steam coming out between 2 and 3, tbs camera angle was shut down. Tepco on holiday from may 1st, radiation triples in multiple sensors in Tokyo, extensive radioactive steam, recent quakes. All adds up!

    • @N4CR Pitiful. We have a video, of a cat running in to a "radioactive cloud", and the idiot conspiracy theorist on the video says this is proof that rain in America is radioactive.

      Quacks.

If you want to understand how this radioactive steam relates to what is detected here in the USA watch this video

    • @potrblog So you believe there is a grand conspiracy here right? Between the governments and media of several countries, to hide the scope of the radioactive fallout? Or, does the media just not feel like covering the fact that we're all going to die from cancer?

People were making all the same claims after three mile island. The bodies weren't piling up, so the only plausible explanation is that the sanity-based scientists were all lying, a conspiracy, and the government/media was hiding the t More..

    • @ST0N3PONY
Nah, The Japanese government has likely been nothing but truthful and forth coming about what has happened and what is happening with the several thousand tons of radioactive material that blew up.

Given the ratio to news coverage to the tons of radioactive material, Plutonium etc, spread around, You can be sure that if some lone terrorist blew up 1/2 pound of Plutonium in a major city it probably would NOT even make the local evening news.

    • @potrblog You didn't address anything I said.

A terrorist would be covered by the media, because that would be real. Why is the media silent on this coming nuclear apocalypse? Why is nobody telling us to get screened for cancer?

Nobody except conspiracy loons. Seems like you don't want to address the question.

  • What is the news here?
When Chernobyl blew most of the world felt some effects at some point.
Why is it a surprise that what happened at Fukushima might create increased radiation reading somewhere else in the world?
