@GIXXARDR Sorry but I don't mind refugees coming here - whose going to clean my hotel room or flip my burgers? As long as they are carefully screened for any terrorist/criminal leanings before entry I have no problem with them. @GIXXARDR I see your point too but the majority of boat people seem to be genuine refugees ie Tamils, persecuted Afghan minority ethnicities etc. What I think is a problem is that immigration as a whole should be limited and based on a quota system. So if we let 10 Chinese immigrate then we should let 10 Brits etc. That would preserve Australia's multi-cultural identity. As it is now half of our cities feel like Chinatown!
