Moncton Fire Department responded to a fire at Tri Province Enterprises on Toombs Street in Sunny Brae area of Moncton. Codiac RCMP blocked off Toombs at Mill Road because of all the people coming to see what was happening, as you could see the smoke all over the city. Small explosions going off while Firefighters fought the fire in a huge pile of recyclables. The ladder truck was the only truck spraying the fire and it wasn't going out easily.
Codiac RCMP were having a hard time trying to keep people off the train tracks that are around the property for the publics safety. Traffic was tied up on Mill Road. 8PM and the pile is still burning. Firefighters moving the pile around, and heavy equiptment was used. Firefighters were on scene most of the night.
