CCTV,Miami Dade,Florida,July 14/09:A convenience store clerk, shot in the shoulder after a shootout between him and three attempted robbers, is recovering well at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Now, police have released surveillance video showing exactly what happened in that store last Tuesday.

The video shows the three armed men, wearing ski masks and gloves rushing inside the Bawa Food Market in Miami-Dade's Little River neighborhood around 1AM last Tuesday.

One of the criminals immediately starts shooting at the clerk who is behind the counter, while another takes down the store's security guard and holds him at gunpoint in an aisle.

But the clerk who is a man in his 50's, grabbed a gun from behind the counter and shot back at the gunmen.

The video shows the robber who shot first ducking down, crawling on the floor, hiding, and it appears he's trying to fit his body under the store's ice cream freezer. He gets his nerve back and starts shooting wildly towards the clerk. Then they all run out empty-handed.

The video also shows the clerk shooting back. One of his bullets hits the front door and a van in the parking lot. A customer also drives up, sees what's going on, and reverses at the speed of light.

The whole shootout took 23 seconds and it left the clerk with a single gunshot wound.

Customer, Desmond Symonett was upset by the news. He said, "It's getting too crazy out here and it probably was some teenagers you know. I feel justice needs to be served."
