I was in the same situation only with me no one died....I was the last one out on the green, the guy was in hurry before it showed green for him.... he and his friend (pillion) were drunk, cops came in, riot like situation when the friends and family came in at the hospital, we were the first one to respond, picked them up, took them to the hospital, paid the medical bill... no one was ready to listen to me, I explained them your kid was drunk riding, he hit my car from the side.. why does no one ever stop? i was like 16 years old driving home from football. out of the corner of my eye i thought i saw two big fat trashbags blowing over the hood of the car in front. turns out it was two big white asses of two girls that had been upended by the car, trying to cross the busy street unsafely.
both me and the dude who hit them stopped to get out and check up on things. a lot of other people stopped too to help them out.
