On 3/14/2007 two NYPD Auxiliary Police officers were gunned down by a crazed man armed with a gun.

The first officer is shot 6 times on the nearside of the camera, as he is getting shot you can look down the block and see the other officer trying to take cover by crossing the street, but the shooter catches up to him off camera in the far right upper corner and shoots him once in the head.

Responding plain clothed officers run up he street attempting to return fire.

The shooter, David Garvin, was shot an killed by police around the corner when he refused to drop his weapon.

Near the end of the video you can see responding NYPD officers placing one of the shot officers in the back of the police car to rush him to the hospital.
