  • I'm not sure but I think the biggest mortar bult was " little david "

It had a caliber of 914mm. and fired a shell weighing 3,650 pounds up to 6 miles.

  • I dont know shit but a direct hit to those green cascets with orange marker in them...I have carried them before and a direct hit would be no good. Altho they most likely are just ammunitions and not explosives, but you never know.
Pretty bad place for them next to the grunts. I guess they didnt have better place.

  • Damn, that skinny white kid looks green. Kind of just wondering around. At time 0:55 he steps in front of the mortar tube. Not sure how save that is, I mean no one was firing it, but still… probably not a good practice.

120mm is a big bitch. I would hate to be on the receiving end of that.

The mortar isn’t very secure. The damn thing was practically aiming a different direction after each shot. Any vet’s here know if this is typical?

    • @Flashovr Maybe not very typical, but they're shooting in a "general direction" it's not exactly a precision bombardment, just laying fire down on those sob's...

  • They certainly weren't firing for accuracy that's for sure! They didn't even lock down the plate!

  • Really need some auto auto sentry turrets and some huge cannons. I know the monitors work but get some big toyz and some hi tech sh1t up there.

Are is probably too remote to bring in artillery shelling cannons.

Some times I just like to see see something with a huge bang to it.

    Stay safe dudes.

  • I'm no expert. but they kinda looked like rookies.

God Bless 'em, They are there, and I'm not.

Just saying that process did not look like a well oiled machine.
