Looks like it was put together by an idiot, China has no effective OTH, no effective drones and very limited accuracy long distance weapons. The US would obliterate everything with a red star on it the moment they fuelled a missile, and the Russians would probably join in too. Note Russia's silence on the island issue.

It's not in anyone's interests to get all hot headed over an issue like this. Having said that China needs to grow up fast if it's to be respected on the world stage, and bullying its way though territorial disputes is not the way to go about it. It'll be interesting to see how this current dispute with Japan works out.
