While many of the right-wingnuts on LL will no doubt roll out the laughable, "the libs are scared shitless of Sarah Palin" song-and-dance.... let me be the first to assure them that this post is not about anything other than the proposition that, Sarah Palin is in fact a very stupid person.

But there is also evidence that she pathologically lies about every little foible that might expose her as less-than-bright... Like when she submitted a twitter post in which she used the word "refudiate" in a plea to "peaceful Muslims" concerning the 'Ground-Zero Mosque'.

In an apparent conflation of the words "refute" and "repudiate" (either of which would have been appropriate) she inadvertently Frankenscribed a new word.... "refudiate." Shortly after her gaffe, the new non-word was the second most frequently searched item on Google.

Of course, now that it has been immortalized, Sarah tried to pretend on a recent episode of her TLC show, "Sarah Palin's Alaska", that her coinage of 'refudiate' was just an accidental typo.

"I pressed an F instead of a P and people freaked out," said Palin, while talking to her husband, former half-term "First Dude", Todd Palin during a segment of the show.

The problem with that story is that she made the "refudiate" tweet on July 18th.... But as you can see in the above clip, she also used the same word on national TV during on Sean Hannity's Fox show on July 14.... four days before the tweet.

All this might just be waved off as sour grapes or pedantic obsession... and no doubt it will be... but all it really is, is one more incident tossed onto a rather large pile of evidence that Sarah Palin is a not-so-bright, political superstar.

What truly scares libs (and most other intelligent people, including many Republicans and Independents) is not Sarah Palin herself... but the legions of her fellow morons who are currently trying to propel this half-wit into (what used to be, anyway) the most powerful position in the world.

America needs this politically savvy, idiot savant like it needs a paper asshole.
