This is a excerpt for online video taken from the excellent interview of Steve Rowland, one of the five executive members of the National Front, by Craig Cobb of VNN. In this excerpt Craig Cobb asks Steve Rowland to discuss the BNP's "liberalising" policies.
Here is the text of the interview regarding the BNP leadership.

Craig Cobb:
Steve, in that you're one of the five members of the executive board of the National Front in the UK. I wonder if you can discuss, if you will, the fact that the BNP is "liberalising" -- although that is not the right word -- its policy to where Jews and non-whites run for office. What can that be in terms of an indigenous movement or a white people's movement? It doesn't make sense!

Steve Rowland:
Well, it doesn't make sense and we believe in the NF that the BNP core, major members are fine, good nationalists. But it seems to us that the leaders and leadership of the BNP are now paid employees of the State because they've watered down their policies so much now to become what they would call one of the mainstream parties. They have a Sikh gentleman on their general election broadcast. They have Jewish Councillors, they have a half-Turkish member. They're encouraging non-white people to join their party, which we in the National Front would never do.

Craig Cobb:
So young radical whites will immediately see through this by and large, won't they?

Steve Rowland:
Well, we are hoping this. Obviously, at the moment the BNP are living off basically the whole work the National Front have put in over the last 40 years and we are hoping that the people will see that their policies have been watered down to such an extent they are no different to the Tory Party. The BNP, I'm afraid, is sold out. It's sold out to the State and that is the only conclusion you can come to with some of the comments its leaders and leadership have made, their policy changes, the fact that they will allow immigrants to stay in this country.

Craig Cobb:
Why does the BNP want to allow immigrants to stay?

Steve Rowland:
They would repatriate illegals they say but legal immigrants they would allow to stay.
Their policy is obviously that they want to become a 'mainstream' party now. They want to be acceptable. They don't want to be a radical nationalist party like the National Front, ...a party that goes out on the streets, that puts our policies over to the public on the streets. They want to water down their policies and obviously, at the moment, they are reaping the rewards, there is no doubt about it. They're good activists and I praise them, they're doing the work.
It's their leadership that is the problem. We've had a large amount of good activists come across to us recently. We've got more in the pipeline that want to defect because they're fed up with their leader and his policies and his bully-boy tactics. He seems to want to be a dictator. If you don't agree with what he says, you're out and this has happened on numerous occasions recently to very good, strong, active nationalists. And luckily enough for the NF they come to us and they have benefited us and are now helping us. They are standing as candidates, they're starting branches and they're doing loads of activities for us. They're encouraging more people because they can see the NF is the only real alternative.
